With the Jakob 800 presents PrintsPaul An absolute innovation: a digital finishing line with an 800 mm web width.
This series, designed for inline and offline operation with HP Indigo 25K and 200K printers, sets new standards in high-volume label printing. Even the basic units are impressive: a servo-controlled unwinder for rolls up to 1.000 mm in diameter, combined with an 8-meter web buffer. This ensures precise speed adjustment to upstream systems. Web edge control and corona pretreatment guarantee perfect conditions at every stage of production. The core component is the semi-rotary die-cutting station with a 320-tooth magnetic cylinder and automatic sheet handling. Flexible gap adjustment allows for optimization of the die-cutting result during operation, ensuring maximum precision, efficiency, and process reliability.
In addition, it features a fully rotary flexographic printing unit for varnishing or single-color printing, a powerful UV lamp, and an integrated matrix output unit with shredder that reduces waste volume to a minimum. The machine also offers advantages in longitudinal cutting. Jakob 800 Maximum flexibility: Razor blades and an automatic shear cutting system with software-controlled blade positioning are available, and can also be used simultaneously. The line is rounded off by two independent winding spindles for finished rolls with a diameter of up to 700 mm. The maximum production speed of up to 60 meters per minute and convenient control via a 15" touchscreen make the Jakob 800 to a perfect solution for high-volume label production.
