PrintsPaul extends rotary die-cutting with A-Synchron. The speed of the die-cutting cylinder is adjusted to the web feed during die contact. This produces repeat lengths of approximately 120 to 2,500 mm with one tool, without changing the magnetic cylinder.

Label manufacturer Beta-Point uses the Viktor 370 to automate die-cutting, slitting and roll finishing. Jumbo unwinding, a 29-metre buffer and a four-spindle turret rewinder allow up to 150 m/min for die-cutting and up to 250 m/min for rewinding.

Several sensors check across the entire web width that every label is present and stop the machine when there is a gap. Up to eight sensors are available for Max and Heinrich.

The platform processes multilayer labels in continuous operation and also applies RFID labels and security features. An illuminated inspection window shows the layers before rewinding. RFID reading, writing and verification can be retrofitted.

PrintsPaul is extending its range for label manufacturers with the Otto 320. The compact, modular platform combines the production of booklet and multilayer labels as well as RFID applications in one system.

Label manufacturers are looking for machines that combine several work steps. The Kurt 450 laminates up to three layers in register and also dispenses RFID labels onto webs that have already been converted.

PrintsPaul is expanding its sales activities in Poland and strengthening its team. The aim is a firmer position in the European market.

Preview of the trade fair in Barcelona: PrintsPaul is showing eleven systems for flexo and digital printing and converting. The Jakob 800 with 800 mm web width premieres there and then goes to a German printer of flexible packaging.
