The PrintsPaul inkjet module complements flexo, converting and finishing machines as well as digital printing systems from many manufacturers. Because it is very compact, it fits into almost any machine. This gives analogue lines the ability to embellish and personalise digitally.

UV-curing varnishes and inks are processed. Because the application can change from label to label, each printed product gets its own character. A thicker varnish application creates tactile effects reminiscent of 3D.

Printing with varnish (standard)

Transparent inkjet ink adds gloss highlights or creates textures. The varnish can also serve as an adhesive for metallic cold foil. This produces a cost-effective embellishment, or silver foil is applied before four-colour printing to create metallic effects.

Printing with white (option)

Transparent materials can be backed with white before being printed on a system that cannot print white itself. This is particularly in demand for sleeves for cosmetics and beverages.

Printing with black (option)

The classic: black on pre-printed labels or a white web. This is how you personalise labels simply and economically, whether with an image, a barcode or a line of text.

Applications and substrates

Embellishment or personalisation of pre-printed webs directly during converting, plus white as a pre-print on transparent media. Any material that the host machine processes and that can be printed with UV ink can be used.
