Under the motto “Print, Convert, Inspect”, PrintsPaul offers systems for digital printing, printing and finishing. One focus is on special solutions in digital label and packaging printing. Three questions for Managing Director Paul Arndt.

PrintsPaul offers more than machine sales. Where does the focus lie?

“The first pillar is machine sales, consulting and the development of individual solutions. The second is service and support for almost every digital printing system, on site or via remote maintenance, plus training and technical presentations. The third is our own production: since 2017 we have been manufacturing individual labels and packaging. This is how machines, service and technical know-how mesh together.”

How did your company deal with the crisis?

“Producing visors and masks was not the right path for us. We concentrated on what we do well and expanded our markets towards packaging and labels. These are markets with high growth potential, as the crisis clearly showed. We streamlined our portfolio and are concentrating on converting industrial products, on embellishment and on special productions. We also produce pre-series runs for our customers in a very short time.”

Which business areas do you see for the industry?

“We recommend that our customers look into packaging. That is where the interface between consumer and product arises, and it opens up new sales channels. The many start-ups and small companies offer great potential for special productions and individual packaging. Compact printing systems provide a solid entry point with a small investment.”
